I'm concerned

I guess everyone is feeling the pressure now... rakyat with the petrol and other essentials price hike and Pak Lah/BN/UMNO with the recent development in Sabah.

This reminds me of a saying that goes like: it don't matter much what problem does to you, but what you do with the problem is far more important (or something like that, I can't remember where I read it).

Being an UMNO member (thru my father who did the registration and even sent me to Kursus Gerak Gempur in Bagan Lalang, Sepang back in '94), I'm pretty concern with what's happening around us. Yes, the petrol hike has immediate impact on me, because of my RM150-still-not-full fuel-guzzling Naza Ria, but the pressure on the current goverment is far more significant to me. What will happen to the goverment next, UMNO in particular & BN as whole not only about Pak Lah, but to each everyone of us.

This is a critical era in Malaysia political scene, that will dictate how our beloved country progress in this ever challenging world. With the economic pressure & recession looming, how Pak Lah and his trusted advisors come up with is something I really look forward to. What the UMNO supreme council achieve after their retreat not so long ago is of significant important to us all, be it to BN or PR.

I certainly hope there 'll be a savior who can save UMNO from being rejected by the group who it's trying to protect. That is exactly what's happening at the ground level. The low-single-income Malays, renting a 1-bedroom house in a small kampung, surrounded by MNC factories in Bayan Lepas happily raising Keadilan flag in their houses. As if now all their needs have taken care of and their priorities will be looked into by the DAP-led goverment.

I just can't imagine leaving the fate of our children in the hand of 'pakatan' rakyat.. are they really sepakat?
